“What’s so great about the Great Recession?”

There’s nothing “Great” about losing your job or losing your house.  Our area of the country has been hit harder on this than most of the country.   However, God, in His Sovereignty, can take the most horrendous human tragedies and turn them into magnificent miracles.  He is THE Master at transforming junk into treasure.

When you are ready, come and spend a Sunday morning with us, and hear God speak to you directly from the pure, perfect Word of God.  You’ll be glad you did.

When Adam and Eve sinned, God covered them with skins from an animal sacrifice.   Then He banished them from the Garden of Eden.

But that wasn’t THE END…IT WAS ONLY THE BEGINNING!  From that day til this, man has had an inbred hunger to know his creator.

The Way Back to God is not hard…it just takes humility.  We must admit to God that we have done wrong.

We must accept the Blood sacrifice that God provided for us freely.

In Adam and Eve’s case, it was a lamb.

In our case today, it is the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.  On the Cross of Calvary, Jesus shed his blood to make a full payment for all your sins.  By merely accepting Jesus’ atonement for your sins, you can be saved.

The Way Back To God is open to any and all who come unto God by the Lord Jesus.  Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.  (Acts 16:31)

Why did Jesus Have to die?

He did, you know.  He died.  And He Had to die.  But Why?

1. Because Our sin is Bad.  It may not bother us, but our sin bothers God.  God can’t stay in the presence of sin.  He won’t let it into His Heaven.

2.  Because we could not get into Heaven if He had not.  A perfect person had to die for the imperfect.  One without sin had to take the sins of all us sinners.  It was the Atonement.  It was the Propitiation.  It was the Just dying for the Unjust.

3.  Because He loved us.  He couldn’t sit idly by while the whole Human Race dropped off the cliff of eternity right into the lake of Fire.  If He didn’t love you, He wouldn’t have died for you.  But He did…Because He Does!

To Receive Jesus as your Savior is the greatest decision of your life.  Why?  If you do not receive Jesus as your Savior, there only awaits a certain doom for you in the abode of the lost forever and ever.

But if you would only receive Jesus!  Then, His full atonement on the Cross of Calvary would be credited to your account in Heaven.   His Blood which he shed for you would wash away all your sins.  He would accept you into His family and make you one of His Dear Children.

How do you Receive Jesus?  Simple!  By Faith, Believe that Jesus is Our Only God and Savior.  By Faith Believe that He paid for all your sins on the Cross two thousand years ago.  By Faith Believe that He suffered and bled and died and rose again from the dead and that He is coming again.  By Faith Believe that He will save you just now if only you would ask Him to.
