Married for the first (and only) time in June, 1977,

Dan and Sharon Kaighen came to the Lighthouse Baptist Church in November of 1990.

In these last 20 years, by the grace of God, they have raised their family of 6 kids

to love and serve the Lord.

All of them are in active ministry on a weekly basis

at their local church.

After receiving 2 degrees from Hyles-Anderson College in Crown Point, Indiana,

Pastor Kaighen served as pastor, an assistant pastor, as a sunday school bus captain,

as a music director, as a department superintendent, as a teen director, church janitor, bus mechanic,

and just about anything asked to do, for the glory of God.

His sermons are delightfully simple, clear, and helpful.

Never long-winded, the Preacher carefully plows the Gospel plow down each row.

Always Bible-based, with added touches of humor, grit, and

50+ years of personal illustrations to draw from.
