Our Mission & Vision
Our vision and mission is to help connect people to faith
We believe that every person was created with a God-shaped hole in their heart that only God Himself can fit and fill. People try to fill that hole with possessions, pleasures, and all sorts of poison. But only God can satisfy. If you still find yourself empty and hollow after searching for meaning and purpose everywhere else, why not come to God through Jesus Christ. What have you got to lose?
Salvation, plain and simple.
1. All are Sinners. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of he Glory of God
2. All Deserve Hell. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the Gift of God is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
3. Jesus Paid it ALL. Romans 5:8 …While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
4. ALL must Call. Romans 10:9-13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Pray the Sinner’s Prayer: Dear Jesus, I know I have sinned and do not deserve Heaven. Please forgive my sin, come into my heart, and save my soul. Thank you Jesus. Amen.
Meet the pastor.
Pastor Dan and Abbie Jo Kaighen
My wife and I have been pastoring at the Lighthouse for over two years now. We have accepted God’s calling on our life, and are happy to be serving the Lord together.
Dan Kaighen Jr grew up in Fairfield County his whole life. God has given him a heart for the people and a burden to see the community reached with the Gospel.
Meet The Team
Spanish Pastor Burt and Phyllis Rexin have been burdened with reaching the community with the Gospel. They have a heart for people, and a passion to serve. Mrs. Phyllis is also our Missions Secretary.
Meet our Sunday School teachers. We have been blessed by God with a wonderful team of dedicated servants. Every age group has an opportunity to learn and study God’s Word where they are at maturity wise.
Miss Debbie Smith is our Sunday School superintendent. She has been faithful in this ministry for many years. Her joy in serving and working with the children is a wonderful gift.
Our Beliefs & Values
All of our beliefs are placed on the Word of God. If God’s Word speaks about it, then we speak about it. If God’s Word is silent about it, then we are silent about it. We are a people of the book, and we make no apology for it.
Biblical Authority
We believe the Bible is the sole authority of our faith and practice.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
Autonomy of the Local Church
Self-Governing, local, independent church.
Priesthood of the Believers
It is the privilege and responsibility of each believer to go directly to God to the throne of grace to find help in time of need. The believer can go directly through Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 2:5-9
Two Ordinances
The Bible commands us to fulfil Baptism of born-again believers, and partake of the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of Jesus Christ.
Individual Soul Liberty
Each believer has the liberty to make decisions freely, but will be responsible to God for the decision he or she makes.
Romans 14:11-12
Saved and Baptized Membership
We believe in salvation by the grace of Jesus Christ and that each believer must be baptized after salvation.
Acts 8:36-37
Two Officers
Pastor and deacon: clearly mentioned in the New Testament.
1 Timothy 3:1-13
Separation of Church and State
This has been misinterpreted in recent days, but our founding fathers formed this nation on this belief.
